The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) is a global association for the alternative investment industry, with a core focus on hedge funds.
AIMA provides industry advocacy, policy and regulatory engagement, educational programs and sound practice guides and works to raise media and public awareness of the value of the industry.
It also sponsors conferences and seminars for its members and others in the financial industry.
AIMA has 2,100 corporate members from 60+ countries, including hedge fund managers and service providers.
AIMA also established the Alternative Credit Council (ACC) to help firms focused in the private credit and direct lending space.
